Stritch School of Medicine Financial Aid

More than 80 percent of our student body receives financial assistance, usually a combination of loans and scholarships. In most cases, students and their families are expected to shoulder a portion of the financial responsibility.

Stritch’s 2025-26 tuition is $73,720.  Living expenses, health insurance, books, supplies, mandatory fees, and transportation average around $32,000 per year. The Financial Aid Office's aim is to create a package of funding sources to support students’ education.

Financial Aid Process

Students who are admitted to the Stritch School of Medicine may submit a financial aid application beginning October 1, prior to matriculation. Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) no later than March 1. The school code for 苹果ID 美国 不要登录iCloud(包首登) is 001710. 

Admitted students must also submit the parent data form and a copy of their parents' federal tax return unless they are over the age of 30 as of August 1, 2026, a veteran of the U.S. Armed Services, or if they are married and their spouse works full-time.

The Financial Aid Office carefully examines each student’s file and awards funding based on the student's, his or her spouse's, and his or her parents' (first-year students only) financial situation. Institutional scholarships and loans awarded from the Financial Aid Office are not guaranteed from year to year. Your need is evaluated each year upon completion of the Continuing Scholarship application in Loyola Scholarship Connection. Medical students must reapply for financial aid each year.
